Tutored Talent was started by a former principal with over thirty years in the public education system.  Her successful career ranges from working with preschool age students through high school students.  Karin has worked in programs for gifted students, students with unique learning styles, special needs students, physically challenged students, students identified with ADHD or ADD, and students in general education. Karin has spoken to many different teacher groups and parent groups about learning styles, strategies for successful work habits, home-school connections, and helping the underachieving gifted child build towards an academic progress report that better reflects the child’s capabilities.  Karin’s experience and ability to bring out the best in her students as well as her curriculum and assessment expertise is just part of Tutored Talent’s success. 

Our tutors are the other part of Tutored Talent’s unique program.  Our tutors are highly educated, many are credentialed teachers, and all are specialized in the subject areas that your child needs.  Our tutors participate in training a minimum of twice per month in order that each has the most up to date information on the best strategies to bring to your child.  We believe that constant training and development for our tutors as well as each tutor’s particular expertise will help your child reach his potential.   Our job is to find the obstacle to your child’s understanding of the material and to help your child overcome it. We tailor our program to meet your child’s needs.  We feel that each child is capable of success in the classroom.  Your child’s success is our goal!
